In developing our cupboards, we conducted a material study to determine the most suitable type of board for the cupboard. As part of this, we contacted various major and well-established European manufacturers of kitchens and bathrooms for information. This type of material is flexible and the connections won’t break due to vibrations, which will actually be absorbed. MDF, on the other hand, is made of compressed fine sawdust, so the connections will be very vulnerable due to vibrations. MDF is a rigid material that transmits vibrations rather than absorb them.
